The Robert Louis Stevenson Museum (RLSM) preserves and promotes the legacy of Robert Louis Stevenson. They envision a community inspired by a greater understanding of the world through active engagement with the legacy of RLS; and, with unparalleled accessibility, the museum strives to stimulate the senses and foster creativity and critical thinking.
Located in St. Helena, the heart of the Napa Valley, RLSM is the largest museum collection in the world devoted to this Scottish born author of classics such as “Treasure Island,” “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,” and “A Child’s Garden of Verses.” Since opening its doors in 1969, the RLSM has welcomed those of all ages to freely explore this extraordinary treasure trove of art, history and literature. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 12Noon to 4PM. Admission is always free, though donations are greatly appreciated.
